Conrad's 7 Bridges Ride Nov 1st

Today 5 Dudes(Robin,Keith, Don C,Bob P & Pete Mac.) joined Conrad on his 7 bridges ride on the cycling trails of Peterborough. The weather was ideal for cycling. Our route took us from Beavermeade aross the Otonabee R to Liitle Lake cemetery, then back over the railway bridge to the Quacker tennis club & up to the Rotary trail, over the London St bridge, then we wound our way to the Parkway trail & on to the Zoo. Then up to Trent returning on the Rotary trail to Beavermeade, having cycled about 25 km. Lunch was at the Porch & Pint pub.Unfortunately the ride was interrupted by an accident. Pete MacL crashed going up a curb on the way to Trent. Pete survived with a few abrasions but his helmet was broken in 4 places! The group were fantastic in coming to Pete's aid. Our thanks to Conrad for another superb ride. Will continue to meet at Beavermeade on Wed's at 10:00 if it looks like a good day .
