Mel's Tour of Ptbo & Points West Nov 22 2006

A few hearty dudes have been cycling every Wed.Bob Penny & Robin on Nov 8,Conrad & Robin on Nov 15. Today Mel Johnson,Conrad Hill & Pete MacL took their turn(Pete's 1st ride since his crash). It was another great day for cycling,sunny & no wind.Mel lead us thru Ptbo to the Jackson Cr trail. We rode thru parking lots & walkways & only crossed streets(as opposed to riding on them).We then headed west to Hgy 7(there is a path at the bridge) where we planned to have lunch at Gramma's but she had left town so we returned via Stockdale Rd & Moncrief Rd to Lily Lk Rd & then back on the trail where we met Gene More in Jackson Pk. Cycled over the London St bridge & had lunch at Tim Hortons. We cycled 32 km on some new roads & thoroughly enjoyed the day. Will plan to meet next Wed if the weather holds.
