We had 7 Dudes turn out for today’s ride. The weather forecast indicated a cool day (6 C high) with a 30% chance of rain but no rain drops on the graph so we decided to explore the proposed TCT from Peterborough to Hastings that was described in a previous posting on March 23.This is a 28 km route thru Otonabee Twp, we cycled south on Ashburnham Dr to Technology Dr then east over the rail line to Keene Rd & south to the rail trail. It started to rain on Technology Dr so we ducked into Coffee Time giving Barry the opportunity to catch up to us after his dental appointment. Stayed dry until we were riding into Peterborough on Crowley Line. Keith, Pete MacL, Barry, & Mike had lunch at The Porch & Pint while Bob & Frank decided to ride home & probably cycled thru a hailstorm as were ordering lunch! Pete Gardner was driving home so he should have been warm & dry.
