Sept 3 2014 - Otonabee Tour

Barry Diceman led 20 cyclists on this 36 km ride thru the Otonabee countryside an another ideal day for cycling. From Beavermeade we cycled south on Ashburnham Dr, across Lansdowne St continuing south on Otonabee Dr to Bensfort Dr under the  Hgw 7 overpass to Guthrie Rd then west downhill past The Anglers & Hunters to McNamara Dr which has a steep hill climb on the approach to Driscoll Dr & a downhill ride to Matchett Line. We cycled east on Matchett across Wallace Pt Rd at Stewart Hall to Base Line & north to Cloverdale Line. South on Cloverdale to Galloway Rd which has a nasty climb before turning south on Thorn Rd under a tree canopy to Wallace Pt Rd & over the bridge to Squirrel Creek Conservation beside the Otonabee River. Returned to Peterborough on Wallace Pt Rd for lunch at The Porch & Pint.
