18 cyclists turned out for today’s ride from Pete Macloghlin’s home. Conditions were ideal for cycling, we rode on city streets to the TCT access trail on Parkhill Rd across from the Ravenwood Condos. The photos taken by Pete, Dan & Jim best describe the route. We headed west past the section between the access trail & the dam which was closed for 6 months for the construction of a new sewage line. Everyone was impressed with the finished product which was in fact an upgrade to the old trail. At the Doube’s Trestle bridge we split into 2 groups. Pete, Gord, Conrad, Ian, & Lloyd headed back tp Peterborough while Barry led the others to Omemee, a 40 km ride. Pete’s group cycled to Cottingham Rd then east on Cottingham, across Hgw 7 where Cottingham becomes Stockdale Rd to Moncrief down a big hill to Lily Lk Rd & the trail then back to Pete’s a 30 km ride for a swim & lunch
